Well Being & High Performance
On that path of never-ending asenscion in sport, education, or business, it is very easy to become consumed in your identity as a high-performer. Research on well-being among high-performers has demonstrated the importance of social support, career aspirations and/or identities separate from your role as a high-performer, and avenues of low-stakes, recreational activities to maintain physical activity. This research highlights the interconnectedness of physical, psychological, and social well-being for athletes and non-athletes alike. This holistic approach to well-being and performance can serve as a valuable framework for individuals and organizations striving for long-term success and fulfillment.
